Head Movement

Head Movement

Jack Nicklaus believed that a steady head meant a steady golf swing. While your head can't stay dead still, it is suitable for your head to not slide forward past the point in which the head was set up at impact. People who have a lot of head movement change their low point mid-swing. This will change the point at which the club face will contact the ball. Striking a well-struck golf ball and the head's movement and spinal position are critical. Adjust the alignment sticks to keep your head stable and aligned with your spine no matter how tall you are. Level the sticks even with your head from 15-65 inches or more to keep it stable and aligned with your spine, leading to minimal side bend and more consistent contact shots
