Set up at knee height in front of you and swing below the stick at the point of impact to maintain forward shaft lean, take a good divot, and create consistently powerful contact. Players who may keep their weight on their back foot will learn a lot from this drill by forcing them to correctly make contact with the ball and transfer their weight back to the front side. This drill will also shallow out certain players when they make contact with the inside part of the ball.
